Sorry it has been a long time since I last updated this blog. Let's just say Natalie started crawling which has kept me extremely busy and on my toes at all times. While I am thrilled she is crawling so soon, it has it's draw backs! She is Miss. Independent now, she loves doing things by herself and with out help...I didn't realize that started so early!! She is growing like a weed and changing each week. It has been so much fun to watch.
May was a busy month for us. We had a cadet (Brett) living with us most of May before and after his graduation form the USAFA. It was great having him here, he was a huge help with Natalie and he cleaned the kitchen all the time. I am REALLY missing him now! haha. We grew very close with Brett so it was such a blessing to have him in our home every day the last month before he left. We had a lot of fun. For the first time in about 6 months I did NOT travel in the month of May. It was kinda nice! USAFA graduation was awesome, bittersweet to see three of the guys graduate. Hard to believe Tyler was doing that 5 years ago.
June was a busy month ( I know, what a shocker!). The first 2 weeks we had a full house of company. Brett, Marigrace (Tyler's cousin) and Connor (my good friends son) were all here. Brett and Marigrace were coaching Sports Camps at the Academy and Connor was attending golf camp. It was so much fun to have a house full of company and of course Natalie loved the constant attention! Someone was ALWAYS playing with her. We had many games nights that left us crying from laughing so hard. We made a lot of great memories those two weeks.
Mid June we went back to Puayllup, WA for Natalie to baptized at Sumner Presbyterian Church by Pastor Steve (he married Tyler and I). It became quiet the event! My parents, brother, sister-in-law, nephew, uncle and his family all came to town for her baptism. On Tyler's side Mimi, Aunt Cathy, Marigrace all came to town. The McClung house was FULL of people for a few days but we had such a great time together. Natalie's baptism was wonderful. It was amazing standing up there and looking at all the people who came. We took up almost half the church! We are so blessed to have so much love in our lives.
July so far has been good. We are getting ready for a 2 week trip back to MT. My parents can't wait to see Natalie, they are going crazy without her around. We will spend some time in Bozeman and some time up at our Cabin on the Big Hole. Natalie will experience her first floating trip and four-wheeler ride. Should be a lot of fun. I can't wait to see all of my family. Well its a miracle I have been able to type this much with out Natalie screaming for me, I better not push my luck!
